Salesforce Fact #668 | Country, State picklist in screen flow

We can show the standard country and state picklist values in screen flow using the Dependent picklist type input.

The controlling picklist is the country field and the api name would be the country code for eg. ShippingCountryCode. The dependent picklist is the state field and api name would be the state code for eg. ShippingStateCode. This dependency can be specified till 3 picklists.

In order to get the selected picklist values, the top, middle and bottom attributes i.e. topPicklistApiName, topLabel, topRequired, topValue are used.

Salesforce Fact #457 | Get current user role name in flow

In apex, in order to get the current user role name we need to query the UserRole object. We cannot get it directly using UserInfo object since it has only one method related to role i.e  getUserRoleId(). Using this Id returned we can get the data from UserRole object. But that is not that complex in flow. In case of flow, we can directly get the current user role name using the syntax: {!$UserRole.Name}. Attached are the screenshots.
